Qualifications

- Experience in the Poultry industry is a significant advantage.
- Preferably a licensed Agriculturist.
- Willingness to reside within the farm premises.
- Highly organized and systematic in approach.

- Spearhead and oversee all technical activities within the assigned modules.

- Production Planning: Schedule weekly Hatching Egg (HE) requirement and coordinate with other relevant areas to ensure efficient hatchery operations.
- Manage the monthly booking of sales requirements, including Day-Old-Chicks (DOC) for commercial customers and HE requirements for other areas; ensuring timely fulfilment of orders.
- Monitor and maintain an accurate inventory of essential operation items such as DOC crates, paper trimmings, distilled water, vaccines, disinfectants, HE crates and boxes, regular boxes, pulp trays, and plastic trays.

- Take charge of hatchery incubation processes, ensuring optimal conditions for the successful development of eggs.
- Monitor vaccination procedures, oversee vaccine preparation, and maintain equipment cleanliness after use to uphold high hygiene standards.
